Music player on v2.8.7.5 #10

Hi,

Since updating to v2.8.7.5 the music player is now randomly pausing at the end of some tracks but not all. Had this issue with poweramp previously when using with dashdroid, removed it and went back to using built in player but now seems the built in player has the same issue. Is this something I have got wrong with the settings in dashdroid? My music is all on my sd card not in the phone memory could this be causing this issue? Any help with this would be appreciated Thanks

Hi I never had this issue before, but If power amp did it maybe is the sdcard, maybe backup your card, format and try again

Hi, Tried re-formatting my sd card, just the same - pausing at the end of some tracks but not others. It is not a freeze as my head unit says "pause" when this happens, does exactly the same as when I press the pause button in the app and will start up again when I press play (unlike when this happened to me with power amp, with power amp I had to re-establish the Bluetooth pairing to continue) , looks like a false pause command is being generated by something. Also noticed since the last update the music starts exactly where it was when switched off, on the previous version although the same track as was being played when switched off would come on, it would go back to the start of that track - don't know if this change has upset something with the Bluetooth on my head unit or I have inadvertently changed a setting in dashdroid somewhere!! Do you have any further suggestions on what to do next to try to resolve this? Thanks.

Regards Stuart

Hi,

I have an update on my issue - since your last update ( or the marshmallow update, I don't really know which, as I was using google play music at this time) the built in music player has stopped pausing randomly and has gone back to starting tracks at the beginning rather than where it was when switched off - brill !! But there is always a but!!!! The music control widget does not come on screen when I first open your app when my phone has been in android doze mode, it will come on if I close the app and open it again though, but this is rather annoying, even when going into the music player and returning to the main screen the widget does not come onto the screen- it has to be a close and reopen of the app to get the widget to come onto the main screen page. I have excluded dashdroid from doze/app standby so this shouldn't be affecting this. Does your widget use any system activities that I also need to exclude from doze to allow the widget to be available on the first opening of your app? Or is there something else I need to "wake up" first before opening your app?

Thanks

Regards, Stuart.
