Should we add git info to the footer ? #148

But I dont see it anywhere in the Web GUI of exampleSite or Hugo modules.. Maybe I missed it.

https://gohugo.io/methods/page/gitinfo/ explains the meta ...

Seems to me that it could be cool to add this to the footer ?

Ok I fixed the issue .

am just thinking it would be highly useful if we could show the git version on each page …

Each page will probably show the same version because it’s going to , I assume , be a global version number . So that’s why I suggested that the footer is a good place .

It's a startup template, and you must build your own functionality. thanks

It’s an easy change in footer if that’s where you want it .

Or you prefer to not have this feature in mail line ?
