Should Butterfly move to GitHub as well?
We should probably move both Butterfly and Babel over. Note that to get away from the SIMILE repository we need to publish the Butterfly and Babel (and Tracer and jpeg2rdf?) artifacts to some central Maven repository. There's also a problem with the Whirlycache dependency; 1.0.1 exists in the SIMILE repository but does not exist in any major centralized repository. 0.7.x is out there; the latest Whirlycache code is actually all the way to 2.0, but it doesn't seem to be managed to a level where it will ever get to a Maven repository. It looks kind of dead, last actively developed two years ago.
Spoke about eight hours out of turn; Whirlycache just moved to GitHub today: whirlycott/Whirlycache
Whirlycache 1.0.1 and Butterfly are now in Maven Central. To publish Babel requires Sesame, etc. in Maven Central. It's the final obstacle to closing this issue.
Remove the dependency on the SIMILE Maven repository.
