As a user of Zephyr I need support for core dynamic frequency scaling so that overall power and performance can be optimized.

Can you please clarify on following- Are we looking here for implementation for frequency governor (something like cpufreq/ondemand governor present in Linux side) ? Which SOC we are targeting for this feature ?

My understating is main power saving comes from scaling Voltage as Power consumption = C V ^2 f. So main power consumption will come on scaling of frequency and Voltage. Also we need sustainable voltage incase we want to increase the frequency.

De priortizing this story as we do not have any device which support dynamic voltage and freq.
