Hi Robert Beatty

Devices are currently suspended currently when device is entering into Deep Sleep state through their Suspend Handler.

Can you please elaborate on following points :- What is the nature/definition/scope of "catastrophic shutdown". Is some event is triggering this shutdown ? Is this shutdown due to some hardware failure event ? Who will trigger forceful shutdown, software (OS/Application) or some button press event (GPIO) ?
