4 years ago It also looks like some content is missing when looking at these tabbed interfaces on an iPhone. There's no indication that the headings in the boxes (Renode, for example) are clickable. Again, just a nice heading/paragraph layout would be just fine here and remove use of the tabs.

It's a well-known website behavior that folks like to quickly scan pages for information. Use of a text-hiding tabbed display, such as on the developer tools page, (https://dev-zephyr-mcg.pantheonsite.io/developer-resources/#developer-tools) prevents page scanning. In order to see what's on the page you need to click on the tabs and watch the text content below sorta slides in from the bottom (for about a second) and then klunks into place.
I'd recommend the whole hidden-text tabbed interface be replaced with simple headings and body text for the tool sets, improving information visibility and page scanning. (I also think the technical information about these tools needs help, but that's a separate topic.)
