BTW something funny I just noticed in the vab. The large storage tank, if I set it to ore+metal+rp, the calculated mass (even if empty) that gets applied to the model is the full mass.
I think the bug is perhaps related to how when adding that tank type, the metal is full (vs. empty) so you have to manually set it to empty (at least that’s how mine shows up). There is no slider for rocket parts, so I assume that perhaps it fills it, and since the storage is 1500, then perhaps each unit is a ton and there ya go, max mass despite being apparently empty.
