crashes #83

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to activate - nothing happens
2. Try to activate again, "rikaikun has crashed. Click this balloon to reload 
extension"
3. And this repeats ad nauseam.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
rikaikun 0.8.5, chrome 22.0.1229.94 m, WinXP.

Please provide any additional information below.
It has worked fine for the last several years.  This is new behavior and there 
have been no substantial changes to the OS or Chrome.
