As a follow up, the white paper linked in the README has a section called Malamute Packs
that talks about running pairs or clusters of malamute instances. It also talks about using the Zyre technology in:
Malamute uses the Zyre clustering technology to rapidly discover and connect to new Malamute brokers.
After reviewing the code base and experimenting on my own it does not look like there is support for this implemented in the current source. If this is something that I was interested in getting working what would be the recommended place to start?
Paging @jimklimov who I believe uses it in production
I have a software project that uses CZMQ quite extensively and now have a need for a subset of the messaging in the underlying architecture to have a broker involved because the consumer and producers will not have known host locations and will not be tied to the same life cycle.
I am curious what the current activity and support is on this project? How widely used is this broker implementation? Are there any additional resources or examples somewhere with how the malamute broker handles message connections and routing specifically in a largely distributed environment?
