Widget for application launching #30

Not sure how useful this will be, but I was thinking if it's possible to add a
widget that would allow users launching applications by typing their full or
partial name. This idea is similar to start menu in Windows 7, where user types
in a search string and it finds all applications that fit search criteria.
A benefit of doing this would be removing the button to open up app drawer and
allowing user to add another application shortcut at the bottom of the screen.

Yes, an application search widget. It will basically allow you to stop using
the app drawer. I don't know about you, but sometimes it takes me a while to
find the app that I'm looking for. If I could type in a name of the app and get
list of matches, I could easily pick the one I need.

Something like Launchy?
That would be a pretty wonderful thing, but I don't think it has much to do
with ADW. I'd think you'd want this to be a seperate widget, so that anyone
could use it in their launchers :)
