I haven't started any new web projects since 2 years ago, and therefore I don't have knowledge on the newest web tech stack
My main interest in computer science moved to Machine Learning since 2017
I got a full time job, also in machine learning. Web dev is not very related to my career path.
I have less free time to contribute open-source, compared to when I was at school
@BenjaminHae started a new project with major re-work and based on more recent tech stack (see #248)
I want to switch this project into maintenance-only mode post completion of these features:
Add email verification for new devices (#226)
Fix account activity page (#229)
Replace all SHA256/512 with SHA3-512 (#252)
After the completion of above features, I will release a final major version 11.0 of this project and going forward, only following dev work will be considered:
bug fixes
security flaw fixes
I'm pretty confident that 11.0 should be safe / user-friendly for at least 5 years. After the completion of the new password manager by @BenjaminHae (All features in current password manager implemented), I will put a link at top of README of this project to redirect to the new password manager.
