With these shaders active, as wonderful as they are, turn the vivec mages guild extremely dark to the point where you need a torch to see people

This sounds like it's related to https://github.com/zesterer/openmw-shaders/, not this mod. Could you confirm?

I meant to post this issue for the shaders in the link you provided above. Not for the volumetric clouds and fog shaders page

If you so wish, you can adjust the interior light intensity as desired by switching to the CUSTOM preset and changing this line.

This should now be fixed in the latest commit (confirmation would be useful)!
