Background

A light is an actuator that turns a lamp on and off. It can be thought of as a special case of a switch attached to a lighting device. I anticipate there will be enhancement requests for sub states like looping, scene-activated, dimmed and other. For this first request, though, let's just get on and off.

Proposed Identifier

Pretty amazing how bad some of the affordances are for showing the state and interacting with it.

@rogerstrunk the current on state is great https://github.com/zettaapi/icons/blob/master/light-on.png. for off though instead of the big X through the light could we just remove the fill? the implication is that the light rays and light itself is the fill color. and if there is not fill color there is no light. i think i see the downside: unless one were to see both states one wouldn't know which was on or off. but I think the big X seems like a broken or missing state.

in fact, maybe in addition to the above changes we could work in the universal 0 and 1 power symbols into the icon?
