Choose languages instead of Unicode pages

Instead of choosing specific Unicode pages, the user should simply be
presented with a list of languages and only be allowed to use one at a
time. This should be doable with a button on the main window.

Please don't do that. It is very good the way it is now. When I am chatting 
with two
people at the same time, one German, one Spanish, I would always have to switch 
the
language because of the language specific charakters (German öäüß, Spanish 
ñéáíóú¿¡).
As long as there is no word recognition language selection is useless and only
imposes problems for multilinguals.
