Mine doesn't work - but only in gnome terminal!
I think this may be a Wayland/Xorg issue - on Ubuntu 22.04 switched to Xorg from the default Wayland session and it works across all the programs we've tried. We were trying it out with the stable snap.
Previously on Wayland it was working in Firefox, Steam, Notepad++. We will have a look and see if there's commonality about what doesn't seem to work with Bucklespring under Wayland.
Update: Seems to be that under Wayland it's working with other snap packages (tried six) but not with other programs (tried about 10). May be that the snaps are all running under some sort of container and bucklespring intercept keystrokes within that. Haven't tested a non-snap version of Bucklespring.
I enjoy the sounds a lot, but where I type most of the time, it doesn't make a sound! Sounds heard on all other programs. Debian 10 BUSTER Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.19.0-9-amd64 DE: GNOME WM: GNOME Shell Intel Core i5-3320M
