Simply that I haven't worked out how to "deactivate" a call to effect 8 (set light level addition) after a certain amount of time. When used on a wielded item like "Infra-red Googles" this is trivial (use the item again to deactivate), but I recall having issues when used for a "Flare" item which was designed to temporarily alter light levels before returning to the defaults.
_8=set light level addition, parameter1=type (0=map tiles, 1=items/plotobjects, 2=props, 3=creatures), parameter2=r, parameter3=g, parameter4=b
Could you explain the issue? If it is what I think it is, there is a simple workaround for it.
