Hi @zgemma-star, please fix two Ci+ 1.2 and 1.3 modules working simultaneously already...

I sent you everything you needed to solve this problem...

zgemma-star commented 4 years ago

Both modules had the same ident 0500, this causes that Enigma2 route the data to both modules. It's not related to CI version modules nor a driver issue.

I assume you need to specify the channel to which module you want to use.

Marchella1983 commented 4 years ago

you have three Ci+ modules sent by me...

in order to understand the problem you need to install in the Ci slot Zgemma h9 Twin one module red version 1.3 operator Tricolor and the last one sent from the NTV+ operator Smit module version 1.2

with two Ci+ 1.3 modules running simultaneously, there's no problem...

But if you use two different versions of Ci+ 1.3 and 1.2 module 1.2 after a few minutes stops decoding the channel without having a transponder...

Marchella1983 commented 4 years ago

that's what happens with two different versions of Ci+...

Enigma2 routes the data from CI module 1 to CI module 2 as it thinks both CI modules can decode the channels. Please understand that's how Enigma2 works.

The CI will not response back to Enigma2 if module A decoded it so even if module A has decoded the channel Enigma2 will start to route through module B as well. Probably with assignment of channel to CI this can been avoid.

You get for a small periode the decode video but this will get broken as Enigma2 starts to route the data through module B. On some reason the data gets corrupt and you get black screen.

At driver level it cannot been control and should been arranged by Enigma2. We will check it again but a CIplus module will not send the card info but only that's a viacess module.

@zgemma-star I don't think you want to understand the problem on H9 Twin...

Module A version 1.3 Ident 0500 Module B version 1.2 Ident 0500

WHat happens now: Both CI are placed in the box. Then Enigma2 will route the data through module A and it routes again to module B. Normally it knows that it need to route through module A OR module B. This situation it's route through module A AND then again to module B.

Enigma2 set it like this and on some reason the data with route to module A and module B get corrupt by the module (probably it decoded again the decode datastream) which causes the black screen. The first package is still ok but then it brakes.

This is seen like it happen in the routing process. Please inform if we see something over the head.

In my opinion enigma2 should been fixed that it decode by a select CI module. Like CI assignment should do

Marchella1983 commented 4 years ago

that you have two modules installed? Module A version 1.3 Ident 0500 Module B version 1.2 Ident 0500

Marchella1983 commented 4 years ago

you must install two different modules from two operators Module A version 1.3 Ident 2710 Red Tricolor TV Module B version 1.2 Ident 0500 blue Smit Ntv+ TV

zgemma-star commented 4 years ago

Probably I misheard the developer and that the channel can handle 2710 and 0500 so that the routing happing to both modules. The end conclusion was that Enigma2 routes the data through both modules. What happens inside the module is done by the module and the TS comes out was corrupt.

We will check it again carefully and report back

I'm asking you very much not to drag on with a very important problem for us and fix this bug in the shortest possible time... thank you for your support

Marchella1983 commented 4 years ago

@zgemma-star one more thing...

when using a module from a Tricolor ISP in radio mode, the channels are not played...

Marchella1983 commented 4 years ago

Hi! Any news on the problem?
