Resume Playback and Progress Time #4

Dear Zgemma, After deep checking and testing, the problem causing fault in resuming playback and watching progress time of movies is the bug in service hisilicon. When watching ".TS" files this feature is available since service hisilicon created two files for the movie below: ".cuts" and ".meta" are created

But when watching ".mkv" or ".mp4" or any other extension these two files are never created for the movie below: no ".cuts" and ".meta" were created.

I tried on hundreds of movies with different codecs and extensions but the results are the same. Please fix this issue and we will appreciate that to make H9S box complete.

I think if you want to have metadata and cuts in different file extentions then .ts it should been added in E2.

Hello, Metadata and Cuts are already there and I am using it right now but after removing service hisilicon and using original enigma2 player. Can you please forward the issue ? I can provide much evidence if you want. Thanks

@zgemma-star please check this issue it has been months. Service hisilicon is not reliable for playing nor the problem mentioned above. I think that enough evidence is given. You can forward this to hisilicon.

I also had to remove this service because the EMC player didn't work fine due to it, and cuts files weren't being properly saved for my mkv files.
