More housekeeping for release #34

  1. Adding the optimisation and initialisation variance scripts that we used to produce results for the reproducibility report
  2. Update requirements.txt, have tested that the code works for the latest version of pyg
  3. Tidy up demo notebooks (made each default notebook use our optimised hyperparameters, removed some redundant cells)
  4. Expand README
