I'm getting some more strange SingleScatterPlot behavior, too (using the
2008 election file). When the SSP loads up, it's fine (except for the
mccain/obama colors being swapped). However, if you select something like
BUSH_PCT and KERRY_PCT, then send the selection, the SSP has strange values
for the Y-axis - 0-1000000. In addition, the SSP always comes up in
blurred mode whenever I make a selection of new variables and have to click
on the GeoMap somewhere to un-blur them. There is also strange happenings
when I select OBAMA_VOTE and MCCAIN_VOT. Obama votes are shown on a scale
of 0-2000000, but McCain votes are between -60 and +40. It looks like the
SSP is reading the wrong column in the file or something.
Anothing thing I noticed: in the GeoMap, when I switch from Quantiles to
Modified Quantiles, the colors change slightly (as I might expect), but
when I click on Quantiles again, there is no change. I can click back and
forth between Quantiles and Modified Quantiles and the map stays the same.
If I close GeoMap and re-add it again, the map will again change slightly
when I select Modified Quantiles, then stay the same again as I switch
between Quantiles and Modified Quantiles. If that makes any sense.
