• Population data

  • Pop_under18: Population under 18
  • Pop_over25: Population at or above 25
  • Pop_over65: Population at or above 65

• Poverty data

  • poverty rate: which is computed as:

    poverty rate = Number of people in poverty / (Number of people in poverty + Number of people at or above poverty line)

• Education

  • Share_highschool_orless: share of people with high school degree or less. Computed as:

    Share_highschool_orless = Number of people with high school degree or less / Population at or above 25

  • Share_college_ormore: share of people with a college degree or higher. Computed as:

    Share_college_ormore = Number of people with a college degree or higher / Population at or above 25

• Unemployment rate, computed as:

  Unemployment rate = unemployed civilian(excluding army) in labor force / Number of civilians in labor force

Still, need to dig into the total population, so don't use that variable. Cheers!
