Not able to add the extension #313

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on the 'Add to Chrome' button to add the extension

It was expected that the extension is added, but I instead see an error 
mentioning 'There was a problem adding the item to Chrome. Please refresh the 
page and try again.'. Please see the attached file.

I am getting this error for a long time.
Also, once it got added on my chrome, but after that I made an up gradation and 
later a down gradation and this issue was there.

Chrome Version:: 18.0.1025.162
OS Version:: MS Windows XP, Professional, Ver. 2002, SP 3

Please fix this and/or reply me how to get this working and I am dependent a 
lot over this extension and it is really disturbing my work.
