What is sensation for human being? Is the key of sensation sensory neurons or the interpretation of sensory neuron electrical signal by the brain? What is the feeling of hot? If all kinds of sensations are converted into neural current at the first place, why would we still develop a feeling of hotness? Is it possible to push the boundary of our sensations? Some people can see more colors than others. If we have a new sensor connected to the neural system, say a sensor that would generate different current given different internal structure of the object touched. When our brain get used to this kind of signal input, would it develop an ability to see through an object?
