Segmentaion fault - rvtests using RStudio Workbench

I’ve seem to run into a memory issue when loading large files.

I’m running a genetic association statistic tool - published software: [https://github.com/zhanxw/rvtests] But I keep getting segmentation fault not only on my data, but also on their “example” data which comes with the download.

This example data set is given by the authors so they can get familiar with the tool, so it shouldn’t error. NB! I’ve ran this on my personal laptop, and it works with the identical parameters.

This software tool is part of the pipeline that I’ve been trying to test. But I have now isolated only this component to see why it errors.

I’m not sure where to look for the core dump file, but it is preventing the statistical tests being performed.
