Battery extensions not updating when using daydream on HTC One X #561

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use any battery extension and use dashclock as a daydream

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The extension shows, but does not update

What version of the product are you using?

Latest on playstore

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?

HTC One X on 4.2.2

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.

Please provide any additional information below.

Used two different battery extensions, both act exactly the same.
Noted that WIFI extension has same behaviour, does not update.
It looks like the app takes a snapshot of the system when it first starts the
daydream and then just doesn't update.

I'm also getting this issue on stock galaxy s4. I am using calendar and weather
extensions and some mornings it is stuck on yesterday's data. A restart fixed
it

Any way of solving this issue?
The daydream part is still not updating and there is no response from support
on how to solve.

I hate the issue with the S4 as well. I tried removing the battery widget from
the dashclock widget/settings, but the malfunctioning battery item stayed in
the widget.

Nothing seems to be happening on this issue.
Frankly a bit disappointed in the lack of support.
