I'm not sure if this is a platform based issue but the m8 files look like the following:
q1 bfr:BF4179 75.0 40 10 0 2 121 34 73 0x1.78847c00d848p-33 66.2

I'm not using the log of the e-values but printing the e-values themselves with -s f parameter. The scientific notation does not show up properly.
I tried rebuilding the RAPsearch executables. I'm on a CentOS 6.5 cluster with gcc 5.1.0.
