2 months ago Assalamu Alaikum, Everyone! I have found a weird solution i saw on reddit. Use linux environment (i recommend linux mint) and install "tlp" to set power charge limit of when to start charging and when to stop charging. After that if you will open mac and see on yogasmc that the settings was applied here too.
In the YogaSMCPane settings, under the Think section, there's an issue where the changes I make to both PRI values in Charge Control are not saved. Additionally, there's a problem with the LED Controls. I’ve only tested the Power section, which shows "Power" as "Off" by default, even when it is currently on. If I change the setting to "Pulse/Blink" and then reopen the YogaSMCPane settings under the Think section, it still shows "Off," despite the LED Control settings being saved correctly.
However, this is different from the Charge Control settings. When I change a value there, it does not save, and upon reopening, it reverts to the default values of 0 and 100. Unlike the LED Controls where the changes are atleast applied to the system, the Charge Control changes are not even applied. I hope this can be fixed so I can set my battery limit to 80. Thank you!
