What I would like to do instead is say that a particular modification occurs
during a particular cell cycle stage (or maybe more accurately that a
particular modified form exists during a particular cell cycle stage). To me
this seems different than saying that the modified form participates in a
particular cell cycle phase, so I don't know if it would be appropriate to use
the GO terms. In other cases, I would like to associate the timing with part of
the functional annotation of the form (e.g. phospho-proteinX interacts with
protein Y during mitosis). Here maybe the GO terms would be more appropriate?
