preview status is annoying #3

The window for status pops up and disturbs browsing. Besides, multiple windows 
overlap and it is 
hard to distinguish them.

How about using a less intrusive for opening remote images, e.g., Growl? See 
r49 for details.

use growl instead of windows.

shipped in 1.1, while the original one was also kept.
