Compiling errors when using the command #1

HI dear author,
It's truly a honor to write a letter to you, I'm building your project nowadays and found the error when building as following, I wonder if there is a chance that you know the reason? :)

Hi, William.

Thanks for your interest in my projects. After viewing the messages, I highly suspect it is due to the API incompatibility. As you know, the CUDA kit in my projects was all about 5 years ago. I would suggest either 1) Remain the core functionality snippets but refactor the low-level code a bit to meet the API requirements of the recent version of the CUDA kit 2) Follow the configuration exactly written in the readme documentation and you would run it eventually.

Either way might be a little effort but if you are into it then it should work.
