HC Please can you try sending a fresh version of the patch file. This one seems
to be missing lines at the end of the file.

Also, I noticed the " characters have been replaced by word-processor style 66
99 quotation marks. These are likely to cause the Android development tools to
reject the content. I can replace the word-processor style double-quotes
easily, however if you're able to prevent the software you are using from being
'helpful' we can reduce the risk of me making mistakes when replacing them
during my integration work.

If you prefer, I can use the content you've sent me and merge the changes
manually.

Thanks for your help

Julian

Another request, how are you generating the patch file please? e.g. which
program are you using. I noticed some anomalies when processing the file on my
current computer (a macbook), I'd like to understand whether there are any
incompatibilities in the tools we're using.

Thanks

Julian

Oops, looks like I forgot to use the Notepad! The file I've saved on my pc
is a Word 2003, so it probably includes a lot of formatting. Seems I'd
better copy it to my Notepad and do it over again!!

I've applied both patches (issue 36 and 38). They work in the emulator but are
apparently problematic on actual phones :(
