⚠️⚠️⚠️ Taskbar overlapping - ISSUE COLLECTION ⚠️⚠️⚠️ #1718

Even this issue (Windows 11) should be well known meanwhile and it doesn't matter WHERE TrafficMonitor has been positioned on the taskbar: on the left or on the right...

...I wonder why this has never been fixed. TrafficMonitor seems to be "just" an overlay which currently does not reserve it's own full actual space. So whatever comes from Windows, it wins - and you can't read anything from TrafficMonitor. Very frustrating as it limits the usage by a lot. Otherwise this application would be really perfect, especially coming from former NetSpeedMonitor (stopped working with Windows 11).

System details - as up to date as one can be: grafik

Here's an impressive list (very likely not complete) of issues belonging to this very same issue.

Really hope @zhongyang219 is still maintaining this great software, because looking at almost 1.000 open issues (a bunch of them and more can be smashed if only this single taskbar overlapping issue finally gets fixed) and the last release almost one year ago doesn't feel like it is to be honest.

A hack to solve this problem is to use windhawk's mod windows-11-taskbar-styler to add a Margin to the taskbar. The detail is in the comment below. 使用windhawk的mod windows-11-taskbar-styler 可以暂时的解决这个问题,参考下面的解答: https://github.com/ramensoftware/windhawk-mods/issues/674#issuecomment-2105730719_

One needs another tool to fix what TrafficMonitor causes?

Not a solution for everyone. TrafficMonitor itself should (finally) take care of it.
