Most sequence diagrams share the same structure for the first few steps.

Team's Response

After looking through the sequence diagrams in our DG, the ones that you mentioned were 'similar' (specifically 3 diagrams) only actually had one small portion which is similar. The part is circled in red in the image below. I believe this portion is a crucial part of the sequence diagram and omitting it would make the sequence diagram completely wrong/misleading. Furthermore, it also makes no sense to omit that portion and ask users to refer to an earlier diagram that has a similar portion, as it would cause additional inconvenience.
