Miscalenous is spelled Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous is a very good category! There will always be icons that doesn't
fit a
specific one so this is a good solution.
Also I think that the Recycle symbol that today is in Tourism & Nature should
instead
be in Miscellaneous.

Hey, what happened to the Meeting Point icon I saw earlier today in this
category? It
was good! :-S

Matthias, sorry, it's confusing.
I use this wiki page
http://code.google.com/p/google-maps-icons/wiki/NewBrownCategorySuggestions as a
"work in progress page".
You can comment directly on this page if you want. This issue is not really a
good
place. I will close it :)

Matthias, I forgot your idea about Recycle in Miscellaneous.
I don't see Recycle in other than Nature. For me, Miscallenous, is the category
for
the places than can be in all categories. Toilets can be in Offices, Wifi in
Restaurants, Info in Transportation.
Recycle,... only in nature ?
Keep in touch on this one

OK, I see. For me it was the opposite, I thought the Misc. group was for icons
that
didn't have a clear category. :-)
I see your point about Recycle, but if you look at the T&N groups other icon,
it kind
of doesn't fit... It's not "that" kind of a nature group, it's more of a
"What's can
you find in the nature and what's interesting for tourists" kind of group,
don't you
agree?
When would you use the Recycle icon? On a map about Tourism? Hardly. On a map
about
whats in the nature/landscape? Probably neither... I think it's more an icon
for a
place where you can go and recycle your garbage, a little like public toilets...
That's my 5 cents on the topic.
