Network error on multiple old devices #516

Open mikiotty opened 9 years ago

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

Hi! I've been trying to log in Webogram since a few months and every time I try, I get this error after inserting my phone number:

Method: auth.sendCode Result: {"data":{"byteLength":169},"status":404,"config":{"method":"POST","transformRequest":null,"transformResponse":[null],"responseType":"arraybuffer","url":"http://149.154.167.51:80/apiw1","data":{"byteLength":40},"headers":{}},"statusText":"Not Found"} Stack:

I'm using Safari 5.0.6 on Leopard on a PowerPC Mac (I also tried with the latest Webkit, with the latest Firefox and other browser - same error). Is it a PowerPC-related error or is it just bad luck? :P Thank you!

zhukov commented 9 years ago

Can you try opening this URL http://149.154.167.51:80/apiw1 ?

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

It says "501 Not Implemented" picture 15

zhukov commented 9 years ago

Can you try logging in from a different network? It may be some ISP-related issue or Telegram traffic is filtered.

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

Already tried that. :(

zhukov commented 9 years ago

What Webogram URL are you using?

zhukov commented 9 years ago

And also can you take a screenshot of the whole error modal window?

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

I can make you a short video. Give me 10 minutes :)

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

Here's the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBJXElb3duc The same procedure works flawlessly on any Intel Mac. Thank you!

zhukov commented 9 years ago

What is your Safari version? Did you try Google Chrome?

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

Google Chrome doesn't exist on PowerPC. I'm using Safari 5.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard

zhukov commented 9 years ago

Sorry, but in order to work, Webogram needs blob support: http://caniuse.com/#search=blob The first Safari version to support it is 6.1

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

It doesn't work with Firefox 31.1 either...

zhukov commented 9 years ago

I also tried with the latest Webkit, with the latest Firefox and other browser - same error

what do you mean? Which Webkit and which Firefox and which OS?

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

Webkit r89812 and TenFourFox 31.2 (updated 2 minutes ago), both on Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard on PowerPC Macs.

zhukov commented 9 years ago

Can you update it to current Firefox 38?

Can you open Firefox console when this happens and check if any errors are present and take a screenshot?

mikiotty commented 9 years ago

Firefox 38? That's in beta (if it exists). The latest Firefox I can get is 31.2. I'll try opening the console

Is this ever going to be fixed? I am experiencing the same issue.

So... it's a bug present on old devices... any help? Last time I checked Webogram on my PowerPC Mac was 2016.
