Version of Boardwalk: 1.0.7 beta 2

Version of Android: 4.4.4

Device model: kindle fire hdx 7

Description of the problem: When I press open keyboard on boardwalk it just bugs out

In what way does it bug out? Crashes? Freezes? Graphical glitches?

The keyboard freezes and then boardwalk gets unstable and I have to close it or turn off the tablet
