This derives from a change in how file handling works in Android Nougat and onwards. At the moment, we just have to wait on a patch.
@hammy3502 Has the developer abandoned this project? No commit in 2 years.
Srry... over 3 years
I'm not certain. The last action I'm aware of the developer taking was them taking down Boardwalk from the Play Store due to incompatibility on Nougat and onwards.
@hammy3502 That's a simple fix though... Just a couple of lines of code. If only he would make it open source and allow pull requests. Also... Making it nougat+ compatible would just require a simple If statement.... So it would use the one zip method for nougat+ and the other for older versions.
Look trust me, I wish it was open source just as much as the next guy does. But this isn't our project so there isn't much we can do about it right now.
Look hammy... Your listed as a contributor to this project... So do you not have access to the code?
Or at least contact info of the owner...?
I had thought the thing under the wiki was for wiki maintenance. Was planning to remove myself but never got around to it. I'm in the same boat you are right now.
