7 years ago @SlimePharaoh I hate to tell you this but the reason he stopped sharing the code was others literally taking the code and charging money for it while giving none of the money nor credit to @zhuowei at all!
He intentionally does not want others to use cheats on public servers, and I totally agree in his logic, as normally people would be using it to cheat such as flying / teleporting around the map. Anti-Cheat mechanisms should NOT be thought of as a solution to be on every server not wanting it because once implemented in the official game's code, say bye-bye to those using mods on LAN games w/o heavy modifications to the game's binary, meaning a LONGER wait until you can use mods on the latest release.
A lot of people requested to make this project open source again, and it would be awesome to have some launchers other than BlockLauncher. Currently there is BlockLauncher, which blocks ModPE on servers; MCPE Master, which is terribly slow and glitchy; ForgePE which is outdated and only downloadable in Russia; and Toolbox for Minecraft PE which I use, but there is a built-in cheat thing, that slows the game really much. On the pc version of Minecraft there is MCP, which allows you to create cool clients by modifying the source code of Minecraft, so there are lots of custom clients. Please @zhuowei make this possible on Android by reopening the source!
