Past dates are allowed as deadlines #8

A user may accidentally key in a deadline in the past, even though in reality we usually want the deadlines to be in the future. Screenshot 2021-11-12 170703.png

It would be more helpful for the user if there was an indication (i.e. warning) of a deadline in the past.

Team's Response

With recurring frequency, some users may want to set deadlines that recur every week/month/year and hence set a deadline to a past date. We would like to allow this behaviour, hence this is allowed, with no warning to prevent confusion. Hence, this bug is rejected.

Reason for disagreement: Even with recurring deadlines, in most cases, a user will set the deadline for the task in advance. It also makes sense for non-recurring deadlines to be in the future.
