ntfs copying speed is low #346

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. plug 2 external USB disks (one is NTFS formatted, another - EXT3) into RT-N16
2. RT-N16 automatically mounts 2 disks
3. run Midnight Commander
4. start copying from EXT3 disk to NTFS, observe the copying speed stays at
about 1.9Mb/sec
5. But if I copy files from RT-N16 over WiFi network the copying speed is good
about 5-6Mb/sec
6. Also if I copy files from EXT3 disk to EXT3 the copying speed is also good
about 5-6Mb/sec

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Copying speed should by about 5-6Mb/sec.

What version of the product are you using?
RT-N16 1.9.2.7-rtn-r4330

Please provide any additional information below.

There is no public available NTFS kernel driver. We have to use ntfs-3g.

In case of you, or someone else, can purchase Tuxera NTFS driver for this
project, we will gladly accept it.

Do you know the price of Tuxera NTFS? I could only find Tuxera NTFS for Mac.
