When I turn on router the wireless led is not illuminated. I have to turn
on WIFI in WebUI, then the led is lit. However, the wireless network is
still not visible (checked on the iPhone and playstation3).

I tried to change wireless settings. It did not help.

Firmware which I use: WL500gpv2-1.9.2.7-d-r1087.trx

You didn't write, was it work before? Was you reset to defaults when you
upgrading,
was you check Status & Log -> Wireless tab, etc.

If "wl status" command will return reasonable output, problem is in settings.
There
were many problematic points with WiFi, check wl500g.info forum. Even it may be
broken power supply.

P.S. It works on my wl520gU & on many others 500gpV2

So, WiFi card itself is operational. Might be some problem with security due to
updated driver. Try to turn off security, or change encryption methods.

Unfortunately, Broadcom distribute WiFi driver in binary form only, without full
specs, so it is very hard to modify anything.

NB! Always perform reset to defaults when migration from original ASUS FW.
