Sorry this is confusing to me. Is Tuya the base firmware on those plugs or a Control App like Smart Life and how do I know if my plug is based on Tuya? In my country 90% of those Chinese plugs are controlled through the Smart Life App which then can be connected to Google Home or such.
Is the Octoprint plugin capable of controlling this plug?
And the other thing is this point in the documentation.

In Smart Life app there is a cryptic code called "Virtual ID". I assume this is the device ID?

Tuya seems to be the same as Smart Life (or is owned by Tuya) and Tuya is also an control app available on the Play store that for the confusion. The smart plugs, I got 2 different brands, working with Smart life do work with the TuyaSmartplug plugin and have the same ID stuff own needs.
The Local Key is not a wifi key or such but I guess a unique device identification that is hard to get to for the daily user. For some reason its hidden and not easy to access. I followed this tutorial to get the keys. It took about half an hour with some hiccups. Save them so you don't need to do this again in the future.
