When I install the module, go to import from pagesetter, click the first link 'Import lists', the list data are imported in the database, i do get a message 'Lists import succeded!', but there is no administration interface to manage the lists. Perhaps I will get the interface once I've imported or created publication types. But even than the behavior is not logical and the administrator should get some kind of message explaining when and where to further manage the lists. Also I'd rather say 'Import pagesetter Categories into pagemaster lists'.
At the moment the field type time is not supported. After import such kind of fields, the date type is assigned and the value is shown wrong.
When importing Pagesetter lists, translated Pagesetter categories (list items) are correctly imported as "Localized output" values for the language set up in the browser. Translations into other languages are not imported as "Localized output" values. Changing the language in Zikula does not change this, the import still import category translations only for the language set up in the browser.
If i go to "edit publications" after importing from Pagesetter i get some of this messages: "Unknown column 'title' in 'order clause' ..." The Reason: If the field which is set as "title" is not named "title" but e.g. in german "Titel" or "Headline" the error originates. If i named the title-field again "title" its works. Can it change in the files, please?
It would be nice to have the ability to import publication types from Pagesetter individually to ease the transition
Hi Matheo, is there any progress on importing pagesetter data? Do you have a time-line for it? Thank you, Thilo
Oh, I see that this is part of M1, for which development should start after release of 0.9.3. in 9 days (31-AUG-2012).
Please make sure the pagesetter data import is one of the first tasks for M1.
Muchísimas gracias, Thilo
Please provide an upgrade script to migrate the pagesetter tables to Clip. The other problem with migrating is pagesetter stores images in .dat files, so we need a way to convert them to image files [gif, jp[e]g, png]. And example: "image/gif|1788|1x0x1xlogo.dat|uploaded_image_name.gif". Remember, the path to the .dat files are never the same [the path was editable in PS amdin section]. Now I think of it, it also handled any file upload [if permission was ok], those files were also stored in the same folder.
