I recently updated my local clone of Scribite 5 with CKEditor 4.9.2 and will provide PR in several hours.

As per my exploration it is not yet time to move to CKEditor 5.

You should target Scribite 6.0.1 though. Scribite 5 won't be continued.

@nmpetkov I've now incremented the version to 6.0.2 and updated all other editors in the master branch.

It is CKEditor 4.9.2 for Scribite 5: https://github.com/zikula-modules/Scribite/pull/182 I hope to be able to transfer to Scribite 6.
