This would be fine. Although, in the end the IP address validation shouldn't be needed. this refers to #16 where vendors should be able to use a 'security key' but you've closed that ticket saying my initial thoughts are impossible. I've not had the time to look into this since then. I hope to take a look again in 10 days or so.
