I can login with token. I will test root later.
this might be zilliz cloud but on Milvus standalone this doesn't work gives an error as shown in https://github.com/milvus-io/milvus/issues/36987#issuecomment-2463906426
does attu uses Bearer Token authorization or Basic credentials authorization
this might be zilliz cloud but on Milvus standalone this doesn't work gives an error as shown in milvus-io/milvus#36987 (comment)
does attu uses Bearer Token authorization or Basic credentials authorization
Yeah, I will test open source Milvus soon.
There is nothing to do with Bearer Token authorization or Basic credentials authorization
.
Attu connects Milvus with node sdk, which is fully tested, I don't think it will have a issue about this.
I dont'nt know but using the nodesdk to connect to milvus standalone with username password works for my app but when using attu and providing username and password it doesn't work on milvus rest API the username password works but not with token so I assumed attu uses token regardless if we provide username or password but it seems that's not the case so I don't know what might be the issue
but one thing is confirm on fresh installation of standalone if we set
security:
authorizationEnabled: true
without change the default password then after deploying (docker-compose) and try connect with attu using username 'root' and password as 'Milvus' it doesn't allow us to login but on rest API of milvus it does
Here is my working docker-compose and milvus config
