Had a meeting with Peggy at her apartment near Nanjing West Road. We discussed her WeChat Mini Program and it's basic use cases. I proposed a basic Mini Program where the target audience was school teachers and the user story is that they could complete surveys after each class and upload class images.
She enjoyed the idea and was keen to 'keep it simple'.
Doesn't look like she'll be moving forward with hiring Zima Blue to take this project. She's looking to hire 31Ten instead. However, I believe I left a good impression and there is potential for partnership in the future.
Description
Food Heroes is looking for a Dev Shop to help them develop their digital ecosystem. This currently includes a WXMP, Web Admin, and backend service.
After speaking with Peggy, it seems that she's a bit lost with what her organization needs at this moment. Her RFP includes a good amount of features and user stories, but she doesn't have the time or money to invest in all of it.
I've recommended that she first go through a Product Design Sprint, where we nail down what is her core problem and build a real 'MVP' which solves just one user story. I mentioned that the price of this service was ¥1,200. However, I'm considering going lower due to the fact that Food Heroes is a non-profit organization.
She is currently in Jiangxi and will return early next week. I'll try to set up a meeting with her on Tuesday or Wednesday.
