I havent pushed out the changes yet, but here are my comments on your suggestions:

• 8GB minimum on Debian - This is only true if running the automated partitioning. If you manually partition there is no minimum. I just installed a 2GB Debian 9.5VM with 1.6 GB / partition and 400MB swap. This will work fine. I updated the instructions to explain 8GB if using automated partitioning.

• shutdown of VMMIGRATE not working - this must be an issue with your XenUUID in the settings. Check to make sure that the UUID you have assigned to the XenVM in your oVirtBackup Settings matches exactly (no extra spaces etc) to what XEN has assigned to the VMMIGRATE VM AS a UUID. I know this works, as anyone else using it has not had this issue including me. If that isnt the issue let me know and we'll dig deeper.

I added some comments to the different install options. The script should work for Xen too ... going to review that code before I push it out.
