DirtRally2 Cars missing #1

Hi. None of the DLC cars show up. I see the new nefs files and I see how I can add cars to the ini files but I'm not sure which cars are which.

EDIT While you can extract the xmls for the extra 30 cars, it's a complete waste of time, because any adjustment you make to those cars doesn't have any effect in the game. Seem to remember something about custom liveries not being allowed on the newer DLC cars, probably linked to that? Which means I'm still stuck with a steering wheel taking up half my screen, and bigger than my physical wheel (which overlaps the bottom of my screen, but I can't get it to line up because of their stupid limited adjustments. Really sick of Codemasters - have the same stupid issue with F1 2019, have to drive staring up into the sky.

Maybe a bit late for you, I just had this problem after buying the GOTY edition, 30 cars not showing up. Figured out how to fix it, so I've created a fork with an updated cars list, and a newer version of the library dll - Zissakos is welcome to incorporate these changes to the main branch if they want.

Note that if you've already got individual cars with all different settings, you'll want to move ALL of the folders out of the "cars" directory to a temp folder, then run EECMT to generate the folders again, which will include all those missing. Then simply paste back in your old folders and overwrite the newly generated folders, which will preserve your camera settings you've already set up.

Also, I don't know how to make my fork download with all the EXE files etc, so just use the "EECMT_cars.ini" and "VictorBush.Ego.NefsLib.dll" from my fork.

thanks for sharing evilgtv. the tool now shows all dlc cars for me and I can make changes but somehow the game doesnt recognise the changes. I am not sure how the tools work. Either it puts the xml file back into the original .nefs or tells the .nefs file to look for the separate .xml file for camera settings. Or it is by default programmed because otherwise I couldnt explain how the game recognizes my settings just by copying my xml file and replacing the default one.

I just tried to change head cam settings for 3 different dlc cars and none of them worked. Did I miss a step? Also do you know if it is possible to make changes to FOV? I want to further narrow it down then the slider allows me to.

Hello, I have not the last DLC cars in the app, the C4, the Skoda, the 206, the Subaru... how can I have them, I can modifiy all the previous perfectly, all work, but the last DLC are missing, and if I add them in the ".ini", it crashes. It misses 32 cars, the ones I use.
