Doesn't appear to work on slow connections #1010

Using Chromium on the Mac it appears to work on very fast connections but if it takes a long time to load a board (not a thread), it basically don't display anything except the appchan interface and the banner. No replies are loaded.

Loading a thread works as per usual so I currently load the board in a private window then drag the links to another window to view the thread. Annoying.

I tried deleting and reloading the extension as well as deleting the cache.

With the extension off, loading a board on this connection doesn't take long, but appchan always takes MUCH longer to load because it downloads the entire catalog. This is true even on faster connections.

I basically only use appchanx for the v1 captcha and disabling the banner. Is there an alternative way to enable v1 captcha than using this plugin?

...the hell, I can't even load new comments in a thread. It claims I'm "Offline" which I clearly am not.

This plugin tries to be far too smart for its own good

Yar, I haven't worked on Appchan in more than a year. A bunch of features you seem to want should be in 4chan X, though.

I disable appachan x and installed 4chan X and right off the bat I'm confronted with a flashing screen. It shows a config window which I dismissed by clicking but it's still flashing. On for 1/2 second, blank for 1/2 second, ad infinitum.
